Business Analyst (Full-time)

Ready to take the next step in your business analysis career? As our new Business Analyst, you’ll play a hands-on role in a small, agile Technology team, turning business needs into practical, technology-led solutions that help keep our community powered.
You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, from understanding challenges and designing solutions through to delivery and improvement. It’s a role where you can see the impact of your work, both across the organisation and in the communities we serve.

What the role involves
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll use your wide range of skills across business analysis, technology solutions and project delivery. You’ll:
· Lead business analysis planning, scoping and estimating
· Map and analyse processes to identify opportunities for improvement
· Gather, analyse and document business requirements
· Translate complex problems into practical, technology-enabled solutions
· Support solution design and work closely with project managers and technical teams
· Facilitate workshops and solution design discussions with stakeholders
· Support testing, implementation and roll-out of new systems or enhancements
· Drive continuous improvement and stay across emerging technologies
· Take ownership of your work and see projects through from concept to completion.
About you
You’re a self-starter who enjoys working in a small team and being involved in all aspects of project delivery. You’re a natural problem-solver who buildings strong relationships and helps others see what’s possible.
You’ll bring:
· Five or more years’ experience in business analysis or a similar role
· Strong experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements
· Confidence working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
· Experience with system implementations, integrations and testing
· The ability to analyse data and provide insights that support decision-making
· Experience in process mapping and workflow improvement
· Familiarity with Agile, Scrum and waterfall environments
· Strong communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts clearly
· Experience supporting or leading change management
· Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PRINCE2, PMP would be a bonus.
